John has temporarily lost his normal direct connection to the net, and hence
a lot of people mailing to him are getting 'waiting mail' messages.
There is a high probability that the connection is permanently lost, so if
you sent a message and get a 'waiting mail' response, please resend to
cowan@snark.thyrsus.com
and use that address for the short term until further notice.
Most other people on the list are just automatically taken care of by the
list maintainers, but John has a lot of people that mail directly to him
as well as via the list.  (lojban-list itself should be updated to
solve this problem within a few days)
Needless to say, John may be unable to serve as any kind of moderator on the
Carter translation, but who knows, may be jimc himself wants to (or God forbid
I'll get stuck with it in spite of my wishes).  Hopefully the problem will
be soon resolved.
