be ne is bogus

In a recent posting I gave the example

... le jimkatbra      be     ne              be'i    la djan.
    the device        *glue* *supplementary* sent-by    john

I was so concentrated on the glue function that I forgot, that "be"
here is unnecessary since "ne" automatically sticks to sumti.  And
since the ne... phrase ends up in grammar rule "relative-clause<111>",
it looks like "be" is actually ungrammatical.
