I would not date _Lojban_ from JCB's original work. Lojban is how old? whenever
Bob decided that he could not work within JCB's framework and made the first
change. The decision to use schwa and the zero-allophone buffer vowel is hardly
a part of the Loglan that "is some 35 years old," because JCB, the inventor of
that scheme, has never accepted it.
