better formatted lessons

John posted the new draft lessons. (Thanks John!) However, as
posted, the lines were too wide for my printer, an HP, so I filled the
text to 64 columns.

        Instead of this:

You can also work backwards from these time-space simple tenses to attach both
 time and location
to an event:

mi cavi la djan. [cu] citka
mi cavi la djan. cu citka
"I, at-the-same-time-and-place-where-John-does, eat."
"I, when-and-where-John-does, eat."

As with time modifiers, we can have an indefinite number of location modifiers
 attached to a bridi,
or we can have both time and space modifiers attached to our heart's content.

I did this job very rapidly in a semi automated fashion.
Although most sections come out OK, I am sure there are problems.

Tomorrow at dawn I leave for Kansas for Thanksgiving . (Not to
presume that people outside the US know or don't know about
Thanksgiving: it is the American holiday that is serves the
sociological function of encouraging family solidarity and clan
connections. Many people travel long distances to visit relatives, as
my mother and I are doing.)

I may be out of touch for a week (I am not sure whether or not I will
dial in and glance at mail).

Since this reformatted text may be useful to others, I sent a
uuencoded, gzip'd, tar file of all the reformatted lessons to John
Cowan. (I have only email, so I could not ftp the files directly to
casper.) I asked John to put them on casper. I am not sure he will
receive the file I sent him, although I sent it in two parts, each
part is very long. (I have transferred filed this long to and from
Japan, New Zealand, and England; but different parts of the net work
differently. Anyhow, if this works, those of you who like traditionally
wide lines of text will have something to print.)
