Similar alliterations also appear in Latin. Look at the following
verses by Virgil (Eclogue III, 109-111):
> et uitula tu dignus, et hic, et quisquis *amores*
> aut metuet dulcis, aut experietur *amaros*.
> Claudite *iam riuos*, pueri; sat prata biberunt.
