tu'a do would likely be better for the x3 of zukte

Why not be equally pithy in a Lojbanic way.  Not knowing the exact denotation
of the original, something like
ko termu'i janai zukte
or
ko termu'i jo zukte
which implies that you do only what you will and nothing that you do not will.
