Australian states

Several of the Australian states have names that you probably simply want
to translate word-for-word, like South Australia, Western Australia, and New
South Wales. (However, translating Queensland by Lojban words that mean
"queen's land" probably should _not_ be done.) Similarly the Canadian
Province of Nova Scotia probably should be rendered as whatever means New
Scotland in Lojban; that's what the Canadians do themselves when rendering
it in French. Prince Edward Island also can be done by translating "prince"
and "island," since the French form of the name is handled that way too.
