Okay, Jorge has persuaded me that I've been interpreting
the concept of "presupposition" too narrowly.  Given the
broader interpretation that he & perhaps the rest of you
had in mind, an interpretation which embraces uncertain,
ironical & lying presuppositions as well as the ordinary
kind, I have this to say:

I was wrong; Jorge is right about what it means to "know"
something.  Let's move on!
